for the nation of Cuba as it transitions to new leadership in the
wake of Fidel Castro's resignation. Pray that this transition
would bring increased freedom to the people of Cuba.

that the Lord's will would be done in Pakistan in the wake of recent
parliamentary elections.

for President & Mrs. Bush as they travel throughout Africa until
February 21. Pray for their safety and the safety of their
team.

Congress as they consider the reauthorization of FISA (Foreign
Intelligence Surveillance Act), asking God to give them wisdom about
the best way to fulfill their responsibility to protect America and
its citizens.

Lift up
those impacted by the recent tornadoes in Kentucky, Alabama,
Tennessee, Arkansas Mississippi, Georgia, Florida and North
Carolina. Pray for strength for all who were affected, for
comfort for those who lost loved ones and that those affected by the
storms would receive meaningful help and assistance.

Intercede for Congress and the President as they work together on
adjustments to the proposed budget.

Ask the
Lord to protect Christian leaders from temptation. Pray that
Christians in leadership positions at all levels would model
Christ's love as they fulfill their responsibilities.

Ask the
Lord to dramatically reduce the divorce rate in America.

Continue
to lift up the 2008 elections. Pray that the Lord's will would
be done in the upcoming primaries. Pray that the leading
presidential candidates in both parties would study God's word and
heed His call.

Lift up
the families of our troops who are stationed abroad.

Intercede for our troops serving in Afghanistan, Iraq and
throughout the world. Ask the Lord to comfort, protect and
guide them.

Ask the
Lord to continue protecting the United States from terrorist attacks.

Give
thanks for the recent rains in the drought-parched southeastern U.S.;
continue to pray for the Lord to bring additional rain to areas that
need it.

Pray
that Americans would understand and heed the fact that our nation's
strength comes from God, not from ourselves.

that Americans would resist the temptation to go into debt beyond
their ability to pay.

that President Bush, Vice President Cheney, Senate Majority Leader
Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi would seek and follow the
